How to Play B♭ on Soprano Sax

B♭ on the soprano sax is written on the middle line. It is the same note as A♯, so the fingering below works for both.

Press: left first finger, left second finger and side B♭ key.

Side B♭ (shown) is the standard fingering; use it next to B natural and in chromatic passages. Use the bis key when there is no B natural nearby, and one-and-one when moving between F and B♭.
